About Journaldrill
Journaldrill is journal entry and accounting practice exercises with instant checking. It is one of the Dravari drill sites, a family of practice tools built on the same idea: the fastest way to learn a skill you use at a keyboard is to do it, on a live tool, with instant checking, until it is a reflex.
How the exercises work
Read the scenario: A short transaction from a small business, with the numbers you need. Build the entry: Pick the accounts, type each debit and credit, and watch the totals balance. Learn from the check: Wrong account, wrong side or wrong amount. Hints and the worked entry follow.
Every exercise is checked automatically against the expected result, not against a fixed answer string, so a correct approach passes even when it is written differently from the reference solution. If a check ever seems unfair there is a report link under it, and reports are read.
Who makes it
Journaldrill is made and operated by Dravari, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The sites are built and maintained by a small team; there is no outside funding and no advertising on the practice pages. Revenue comes from Pro subscriptions, which is what keeps the free exercises free.
